The short version

Some links on Pausestack are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This is one of the ways we fund the research, testing, and writing that goes into every review.

Our editorial process is completely separate from our commercial relationships. A commission never earns a product a better review. If something doesn't perform, we say so.

What affiliate links are

When we link to a product — say, an Oura Ring or a cooling pad — that link may contain a tracking code that tells the retailer we referred you. If you complete a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale price.

You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer's website. The commission comes from the retailer's margin, not from you.

How we choose what to link

We only link to products we have either personally tested, thoroughly researched, or that our editorial team can vouch for based on credible evidence. We do not accept payment for product recommendations or positive reviews.

• Products are selected for editorial merit, not commission rate.
• We disclose affiliate relationships clearly — on every page where they appear.
• Our verdicts reflect our honest assessment. Negative findings are published.
• We are not required to produce positive content for any brand we link to.

FTC Compliance

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), Pausestack discloses any material connection between its content and any commercial relationships, including affiliate partnerships, gifted products, and sponsored placements.

On individual review pages, you will see a disclosure note near any affiliate call-to-action button: “Affiliate link — we earn a small commission. Never influences our verdict.”

Gifted or Sponsored Products

Occasionally, brands send us products to review. We always disclose this at the top of the relevant article. Receiving a product for free does not guarantee a review, a positive review, or any editorial coverage whatsoever.
